About Us

Founded in 2020, Maison Ozmen is a gallery aiming to discover rising talents from all around the world with a specialization in contemporary art, and more specifically rising talents from Asia (encompassing mainly Japan, South-Korea, Thailand and Indonesia). The curation is done by our founder and director, Sinan Ozmen, and aims to create a mix between artists represented by the gallery and works from established artists, creating an elegant mix between established and new talents.

Having begun focusing on Japanese contemporary art, with artists such as Geoffrey Bouillot and Yudai Nishi, the Gallery continues expanding to artists from countries such as USA (Bijijoo, Julia Jo), Spain (Karla Pereira), Hong Kong (Nobody Here), South Korea (Vivi Cho), Thailand (Kenz), Taiwan (Chang Tengyuan). After two "sold-out" Group Shows in March and in September 2021, and two sold-out solo shows in May and July 2021; the gallery has the pleasure preparing eight shows in 2022, which will all happen in pop-up Parisian gallery spaces, onboarding even more talented artists from Asia and the worldwide.

The Head Curator and Gallery Director Sinan Ozmen bases the artists selection on his own collection, and on artists he would love collecting himself, trying to foster his relationships with artists as if they were part of the same family
